Jeanette Garcia and Daryl Rodriguez grace the podcast with their presence this week. The documentary duo masterminded the Kickstarted World 1-1 documentary about the beginnings of the video game industry and the rise and fall of Atari. They talked with tons of important and (sadly) obscure developers who pioneered video game development before it was even a thing that existed. Listen to Jack, Daniel, and Jeremy pelter them with questions. Oh, and we talk about the new New 3DS XL.
World 1-1 released today! Check out the movie and maybe buy it over on its swanky website: www.worldoneonemovie.com
Music for this episode is a track from the World 1-1 soundtrack. Titled 'You, Like the Sun' and composed by French artist NGHT, this specific song appears in the credits of the film. Honestly, the soundtrack is a wonderful piece of underrated electronica, pretty much Daft Punk-meets-Ratatat. It uses songs from both NGHT and a French duo called Wait and See. Check it out on iTunes if you have a chance.
