The JIM Show - Let's Play Destiny - Episode 119

The title really says it all! Jack Gardner, Jeremy Brown, and Daniel Jones play Destiny, discuss its oft maligned storytelling, die a lot, and debate whether or not Alien was better than Aliens.

Be sure to follow the show's Twitter @indieandmojo for updates on the show or check out our show's app on the Amazon app store!

We'd love to hear more from our listeners, tweet at us!

The JIM Show - Phoenix Dawn ft. Eric Trowbridge - Episode 118

The gang invited Eric Trowbridge, the founder of Apixal, to come onto the show and talk about the harrowing adventure of quitting your job to start an indie studio and going through Kickstarter to fund your first game.

Eric is working on the intriguing Phoenix Dawn, a gorgeous low-poly style third-person RPG that tells the tale of a young girl named Phoenix as she explores a wide world of magic and adventure. If you're interested in learning more, check out the Kickstarter page. There are currently less than three days remaining in the campaign and the project is fully funded. It raised nearly $10,000 the day after Eric recorded with us. Coincidence? No. Our podcast is magic!

Music for this episode is a remix of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, 'Forever Yours' by the talented Tim Sheehy. More great music like this can be found over on OCRemix.org (FOR FREE). Head over there and check out a place flowing with musical talent!

We'll also be posting a giant giveaway blog of massively large proportions, so keep an eye peeled for that!

The gang decidess that it would be a good idea to record themselves playing a scary game. Unfortunately, PT ends up being more frustrating than scary, but it leads to some interesting conversations about Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Torro's design decisions.

The JIM Show - Episode 115 UNEDITED

You probably shouldn't listen to this episode. Seriously. If you do persist in listening, this is the exact same as the edited Episode 115, but with additional "features" like awkward pauses, prolonged ummming, stutters, background noise, barking, recording SNAFUs, and much, much more!

As in the edited episode, I've included the message below.

Robin Williams was a great comedian and he had a positive effect on all of our lives. The loss of such an individual is a tragedy. On the off chance that anyone reads the description for our show and happens to be in a dark place, please seek help. It is the bravest and best thing you can do.
